TCF
The TCF is an official French language level test, intended for non-Francophones who wish, for professional, personal or academic reasons, to have their knowledge in French easily and reliably assessed and validated.
No academic qualification or preparation is required to sit for the test.
All TCF (Test de connaissance du français) candidates receive a certificate which places them at one of the 6 levels (from A1 to C2) Levels and programmes of the competency scale defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). It is valid for two years.
